Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part 2 Film Review!!!

Plot:
Harry ( Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione ( Emma Watson), Ron  ( Rupert Grint) are coming to the end of there adventures together and find yet more troubles along the way. They are still trying to find the "horcruxes"and destroy them as there enemy  Voldermort ( Ralph Fiennes) needs these to stay alive.

Review:
Since 2001 when the first Harry Potter movie (The Philosophers Stone) came to our screens 10 years ago, none of us knew what to expect not even author. We look back through the movies and watch the characters and actors growing up and see that 'child-hood' is a short lived part of our lives.

We return to the part 2 of the final movie all prepared to find out who if either of our loved characters dies and who survives, we find ourselves screaming at the screens when Neville takes the stage to face the lord Voldermort within the battle between good and evil at Hogwarts itself, while harry, Hermione and Ron are trying to find the "horcruxe", there friends at Hogwarts are in the  meanwhile about to face battle against Voldermorts army.

Within the battle Severus Snape is attacked by Voldermorts snake, in which the audience only sees through a fogged up pane of glass. This is quiet ironic considering that he was the teacher of dark arts!

The young adults are now in the middle of fighting for there futures and they are all starting to see the truth, We soon see several of our characters getting passionate, with some innocent  screen kisses between Harry and Ginny (Bonnie Wright), Hermione and Ron and Neville and Luna (Evanna Lynch)

The critical climax  of the movie is when we final find out Harry's real destiny and how he decides to deal with this, its like the Harry your a wizard all over again.

Verdict:
The film ends with a firm imagesof each of our character.  Harry has become a confident, vunerable, but couragous young man with responsibilites.

Educational Speech

Today your a year 11 student here in England, done your GCSE's and awaiting college but, Do you think your going to choose where your going to? "No Way" your parents keep tell you, " your too young" they keep saying so heres my question:

Do you think its fair that your parents choose your college placement?

Because i think it should be your decsion! You are becoming a young adult, the next generation, but yet parents keep doing everything for you and wonder why you become so lazy and reliant on them!

And, what about the fact that you don't have a say in how you feel about going there?
Its just unfair but yet i bet that everyday that your at that college your going to be told to grow up and start making your own decision.

But yet they stop you from going to the college you wanted to go to when your now a young man or woman learning how the real world works and getting an insight into what life in the working world is going to make out to be for YOU.

We should fight back, and we should make are minds up before they can stop us, and  we need to stand up because if we don't we are going to limit our lives for them.

So what are you going to do are you going to sit around hoping they will let you grow up or leave them shocked that we can do, and follow are hopes and dreams without their constant input because we are our own people and will need to learn to be independant people of society today.

Registers and Analysis

Text A
KATIE: I meted Steven and we walked for about for a bit with my friend Natalie.
BETH: Yeah so Natalie met him what!! How come I haven’t?
KATIE: Then we went back to my house.
BETH: And…..
KATIE: When he had to go home, I walked him to the bus stop and kissed him, but I didn’t feel anything at all.
Beth: what how’s that even possible!!!!
KATIE: That’s the thing I felt really bad as he is such a nice person,
BETH: So did you tell him?
KATIE: Yes, I told him last night now I felt and he completely understood,
BETH: Well that’s something are you both still coming to the cinema on Sunday?
KATIE: We are still going to the cinema on Saturday together but as mates!
BETH: So how were your results?
KATIE: I sat my French general exam yesterday and got my results back today.
BETH: And?
KATIE: I got 31 out of 32 so I’m quite happy.
BETH: How was Claire’s result?
KATIE: She was really upset in English and I wish I could help her but the only person who could really do that is Tony.
Analysis:
The above text before was a colloquial text that contained lots of slang, non-standard English and homophonic representation. Now it has been changed into an intimate register between two friends on the internet. The way I have changed this into an intimate text is by making the conversation isolated to just two people and about personal things that close friends talk about like guys and weekend plans I had to change some of the words form numbers into letters (e.g. 2, into two) as then it would be in standard English, by doing this I haven’t lost the purpose just changed the dialects slightly.

Text C:
DARLENE: Hello?
TROY: Darling it’s me, you’re beloved
DARLENE: Oh it’s you Roy,
TROY: No it’s me darling Troy your most admired husband
DARLENE: Oh dear god, I do apologise my dear the children are making a terrible amount of noise.
TROY: You don’t say my dear,
DARLENE: (Away from the phone) Krystal does keep your noise down matriarch on the phone!
TROY: How was the children’s day?
DARLENE: They haven’t been very well and were off school for the day but the nurse had to go home so very tired my dear.
TROY: I do wish she had stayed to help, as it’s been busy here today too so will not be able to help you my darling
DARLENE: So what time will you be back dear so I can get the cook to get the food ready for you arrival!
TROY: I’m going to as Sir Richard to take over so I can come back and let you rest for a while.
Analysis:
The above text was originally and intimate register between a couple, this was shown by the use of language such as ‘our’ and nick names such as’ gooney-bird’ and ‘baby’. Now the text as a frozen register, I have done this by changing the language from modern to old English by using words like ‘matriarch’ and ‘nurse’ in place of mother and child-minder. This still has the same purpose just using a different style of writing.

Me in the life of Vicky Angel

Me in the life of Vicky angel!
Shannon is running after Vicky down the art corridor, “Hey Vicky wait up you were supposed to wait for me after class today,” Vicky turns red faced “Yeah, well you took my homework with you yesterday remember! And didn’t give it back so I got into major trouble with Mrs Sampson today!,”
“What but I...”
“But nothing I can’t cope with you much more all you ever do is take, take, take! When are you ever going to give something Shannon? Well!”
They carry on down the driveway in silence neither of the girls making eye contact until Vicky turns and say’s,
“Well!!!” turning so as if walking backwards facing Shannon.
“Why do you always have to make me feel bad just because of some stupid homework?”
“Because it’s my duty as the best friend to wind you up,” saluting in a joking manor then starting to run backward toward the road as Shannon chases,
Then a sudden a scream!!!!!

A screech of brakes followed and Vicky was left lying face down in the road motionless. The man emerges from the car shaking and panic stricken saying,
“Oh god what have I done, one minute there was nothing then she was there and… and…then…”
“You hit her,” crying she stumbles to her knees next to Vicky “Common get up it’s not funny anymore… your scaring me… Vicky!”
“Common love there nothing you can do,” then turning to the man “I’ve called an ambulance it’s on its way now, can you stay here a minute,”
“But she’s only joking show them Vicky, SHE DOESN’T NEED AN AMBULANCE!!!!!!”
Everyone from the school is now congregated at the school gates look in shock at Shannon, at this point the lady tries to take her into her house to calm down the ambulance arrives and Shannon refuses to leave Vicky and goes with her to the hospital in denial of what happened!
At the hospital the family are waiting and Vicky is whipped of in a different direction to Shannon and she thinks about protesting but decides she’s safe with them, as Shannon is lead down through lots of different corridors she things about what happened only about half an hour ago to Vicky and why she hadn’t seen the road but before she could figure that out, she had Vicky’s mum shaking her and saying,
“Why…… why her you… you did this you spiteful little girl how could you push your best friend!!!!!”
Looking shocked and bewildered Shannon replied “I didn’t push her she was running backward I swear…”
“You lying little…..” at this point one of the doctors came into the room looking at us, and addressed Vicky’s parents and told them something very quietly and Shannon could do nothing but watch as Vicky’s mum collapsed to her knee’s in tears,
“What happened is she ok” Shannon produced fearing the worst.
“She’s gone you silly little girl and it’s your fault,”
But she wasn’t Vicky’s soul was wondering the halls and spotted her mother shouting at Shannon and tried to intervene but found her mother couldn’t see her but Shannon could and said,
“VICKY” in a flood of tears!
